Wizkid named Best African Act 2021 EMA
Grammy-winning artist Wizkid was named Best African Act at the EMA yesterday.
Wizkid is the sixth Nigerian to be named, and the seventh time a Nigerian will bring the award home.
Although the Nigerian star boy was not physically present to accept the award, he thanked his fans for supporting and standing by him in a pre-recorded speech.
The Made in Lagos singer is currently on a music tour outside the country, hence his absence from the MTV EMA ceremony.
